So, a few weeks ago I went to the Grocery store with high hopes, and left with about 10 pounds of vegetables (that may or may not be an exaggeration) and the belief that I would eat veggies with at least two meals a day….well it didn’t happen exactly like that…
I threw away probably about half, because I put them in that crisper drawer and pretty much forgot about them. But, after throwing so many away and feeling incredibly guilty and wasteful, I made it a point to use everything I had left, and as a result, I have been eating veggies every day for the past week, week and a half. Not with two meals, and probably not as many as I should, but its progress. And the thing is, I feel better. I can really feel a difference in my energy level, and my cravings.
We are supposed to eat fruits and veggies for a reason. They aren’t just put here to make our fridges rotten.
