Oxbridge offers three different For-Credit courses throughout its 2024 Summer Enrichment program.

Geometry

This fast-paced course will build upon Algebra 1 curriculum and is essential to further instruction in Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, and beyond. The purpose of this course is to develop geometric relationships and deductive strategies that can be used to solve a variety of real-world and mathematical problems. Geometry covers topics including but not limited to geometric structure, congruence, similarity, and measurement.

Economics

In this fast paced yet comprehensive course, students will learn the principles of microeconomics and macroeconomics and how to apply them to the real world. Topics covered include: supply and demand, market structures, market failures, behavioral economics, macroeconomic indicators, monetary and fiscal policy, and trade. Students will explore economic models and develop graphing skills. After this interactive course, students will be able to approach life analytically– thinking like an economist!

Environmental Science: Field Research

Explore nature like a scientists with our new Environmental Science: Field Research course and embark on exciting outdoor adventures!. Learn about plants, animals, and ecosystems through hands-on activities. Discover the wonders of the environment while conducting fun experiments and making new friends. Get ready for a journey into the great outdoors where curiosity and exploration meet science!

Algebra I

This course will get students well-prepared for Algebra 1 by reviewing the major mathematical concepts necessary for success. Topics covered will include operations with fractions, decimals, and percents, the order of operations, solving equations, graphing, exponents, and polynomials.

Grades 8 & 9 | 3 Weeks | Non-Credit | Jul12-Jul 24, 2024

Algebra 2

This course will get students prepared for success in Algebra 2 by reviewing the most important topics from Algebra 1. Topics covered will include linear funtions, systems of equations, exponential functions, quadratic functions, radical functions, and rational functions.

Computer Science: Video Game Creation

Dive into the world of code and creativity in our Computer Science Video Game Creation Class! Unleash your imagination as you learn programming basics and game design principles.
